A CLEVER ACT

Mrs Angel Mary’s head was on fire that day. She suspected that a theft had occurred in school that too in her room. Five Thousand Rupees kept on her table was found to be missing between 11 and 11:15 that morning. As HM (Head Mistress) of that school it was her responsibility to make sure that school fees should be collected and paid in treasury at proper time. She was about to leave the office at 11 but then she went out of her room to make an urgent call.
The matter became infectious. Somebody informed police. After a thorough questioning of all teaching and nonteaching staff the inspector asked the teachers to check the pockets and bags of all the children who had games period during that time since they were the only ones possible to be out of the classrooms that time. The search wasn’t in vain. Money was found to be in Arjun’s bag tucked in between the pages of one of his note books, a third standard student who was having games period during the period of the supposed theft. Arjun denied the claim and said that he had no idea about how that money got into his bag and he didn’t went to play since he was affected by fever and he was studying in the garden for the class test that was supposed to be conducted in the afternoon class hours that day. Arjun pleaded the inspector and other teachers not to take him to station. But none of them pretended to see his tears. Mrs Angel Mary ordered all the students and teachers to go back to their class rooms and other non teaching staffs to continue their duties.
BANG!!A loud noise was heard. Binoy, Arjun’s classmate hit his head upon the window opened towards the passage leading to their classroom. Even though Binoy groaned because of pain, he got an idea to prove his classmate’s innocence. Binoy rushed towards the police jeep and pleaded not to take Arjun to the Police Station since he knew that his classmate was innocent and he has got an idea to prove it.
‘Alright!! If you are so sure about it, then let’s see’, said the Inspector. Binoy asked whether he could see the currency taken from Arjun’s notebook. He keenly examined them.
‘Sir, will u please stand beside that desk in HM’s room and just push the window adjacent to the desk’ asked Binoy. Inspector noticed that the window was shut but not locked and he opened as per Binoy’s instructions. Binoy asked him whether he could see the garden a yard away from the HM’s room through the window. Inspector replied “Yes”.
Binoy then took inspector outside HM’s room and showed him the wet sand outside HM’s room adjacent to the walls. It was due to the wind that the windows were open and the currency notes were carried away. First they fell on the sand and then it was tucked between the pages of Arjun’s notebook’s who was sitting in the garden a yard away. Now Arjun’s innocence was proved and everybody understood that he wasn’t a thief.
Next morning HM apologized to Arjun in School Assembly and praised Binoy for his quick act of cleverness. Arjun and Binoy became great friends after that incident.

Process of history making

People often find history as a boring subject. That’s because they don’t find a story contained in history. When you are living through it, you don’t realize that.  No matter who you are, where you live, whatever may be your economic position Every person in this universe plays a central role in history. Often poor souls don’t give attention to that.
When JK Rowling was creating a fictional character under the name Harry Potter she didn’t know that she was going to be a millionaire. Same happened to Abraham Lincon who went through several failures till age 50 and abolished slavery in America. Did he ever imagine that his name is gonna be written in the encyclopedic pages relating to American History.
Every happenings including natural calamities, war, birth, death etc.. happens for a reason. Even the people who come and go through our lives has a purpose. Either their role is to shape our destinies, or to make our lives tougher or to offer solace in our solitudes. If his daughter didn’t ask for an instant photograph Edwin Hebert Land wouldn’t have developed   Polaroid   Instant Camera in 1948.
Well people complain that history is all about wars, stories of winning and loosing battles.  Now it’s time for a question: Isn’t our life a battle? Do we all win and loose?? The life we are living today pave a way for history of tommorow’s.  If Everybody is born to perform a role in history then why do we call some as legends?? Legends are great people born just like you and me but only difference between we guys is the way in dealing challenges. They don’t quit in hard times however bad they got hit. If Thomas Alva Edison gave up after failing hundred times we guys will be still struggling to find a means of bringing electricity to our homes. The fact is that you have a very little control over circumstances, but you have a great control over how you react to them.
What is the point in conducting a competition if everybody who participates in it wins?? Failures are inevitable if you are gonna create something miraculous. Failure doesn’t mean that you are a big zero it means that there are another ways to approach the problem and you are still on path maybe somewhere nearer to your solution.
Failure and Success are not only for Human beings but for animals and all other living creatures too. It takes years for a river to hit upon a rock and create a path.  It takes 5 years for a Chinese Bamboo to show its sprout and believe me the creature grows up to 80 feet tall within a span of weeks.

Hard work doesn’t pays off always; there is a devil called luck. This is what most people say as the reason for giving up their dreams. Remember whether a person is a legend or not is decided by history not by fortune tellers. Even Sachin Tendulkar is not able to hit a century in every 20-20 match he played.  There may be at times when you don’t even get a result of atleast 10% performance quatta of what you work your ass off.  If things doesn’t work on your way you just wanna relax and try it in another way. Life changing things takes place eventually and sometimes annoyingly slowly.
Bill Gates who boycotted his studies was considered as big fool at those times. Now every young aspiring computer science student wishes to be like him. Isn’t that awesome?? Remember the art of History crafting and editing all lies in your hands itself.  If you want to be a person who are just born to work earn some money and then die you can be like that or if you want to create a signature in world’s canvas CERTAINLY YOU  CAN DO IT. The choice is yours , completely your’s.
